Todd Bloom, MS, DDS

Dr. Todd Bloom’s journey in oral and maxillofacial surgery is marked by academic excellence, advanced training, and decades of hands-on experience. A cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Dr. Bloom holds a Master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY Stony Brook, where he graduated at the top of his class with high honors.

Following dental school, Dr. Bloom completed an intensive Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, where he later joined the faculty as a surgical educator. In 2005, he established Fairfield Oral Surgery to bring advanced surgical care to the Fairfield County community in a compassionate, patient-centered setting.

With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Bloom is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is also a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology—credentials that reflect both his surgical expertise and his commitment to patient safety, especially during procedures requiring sedation.

Dr. Bloom remains an active member of multiple leading professional organizations and has been recognized annually as one of Connecticut’s Top Oral Surgeons by Connecticut Magazine and Moffly Media since 2008.
